Silly me and Doris Day

Posted by

Happy Silly Tuesday you all! I had to laugh at this one. We stayed in Doris Day's hotel, the Cypress Inn in Carmel. It is pet friendly and we brought our dog, Taffy. But in the lounge they have a TV that ran Doris Day movies all the time, and the walls were filled with photos/posters of Doris and the many men she partnered with in her movies. I loved them all. So I am showing that off here.

Visual learner that I am, I enjoy taking photos, seeing others photos, and sharing them with all of you.
How I view the world may influence others to see more clearly that the world I live in is truly a beautiful and spectacular place. I hope I can share my sense of wonder with others. I see the world in beauty, awe, reverence and wonder.

Truly, I am an amateur who loves to look at my world, marvel at its beauty, diversity, and I capture a slice for myself to remember and share. Surely I get inspired by the work I see from other photographers and it moves me to try new things.

Looks like a fun place! I'm sure you know that Doris Day is an animal lover.

@Julie L. Brown: Oh, yes. We went here (at her Cypress Inn) because it is pet friendly and we took our dog, Taffy.

Great happy photo, Laura. I am a movie fan, big time, and have "That Touch of Mink" in my collection. The posters are wonderful.
