Silly what???

Posted by
LauraS (Chico, United States) on 10 July 2012 in Abstract & Conceptual.

What the heck is this? Make a guess, then I'll tell you...

OK, I shared the answer below! Thanks for playing along all of you!

Happy Silly Tuesday!

Canon EOS REBEL T3i 1/800 second F/4.0 ISO 100 55 mm

Visual learner that I am, I enjoy taking photos, seeing others photos, and sharing them with all of you.
How I view the world may influence others to see more clearly that the world I live in is truly a beautiful and spectacular place. I hope I can share my sense of wonder with others. I see the world in beauty, awe, reverence and wonder.

Truly, I am an amateur who loves to look at my world, marvel at its beauty, diversity, and I capture a slice for myself to remember and share. Surely I get inspired by the work I see from other photographers and it moves me to try new things.

Ralph Jones from Detroit, United States

Hair.

10 Jul 2012 12:40pm

@Ralph Jones: Nope.

Tede from Aubenas 07, France

I would say it is a reflection created by the wind on the surface of the water! It is superb. Nice day.

10 Jul 2012 3:27pm

@Tede: Not water.

LauraS from Chico, United States

It is not water...

10 Jul 2012 6:04pm

Baldwin VW from Bejuma, Venezuela

I would say a semi-transparent fabric, maybe a curtain, driven by the wind ... Anyway, colors and textures are great !!! Nice photo ...

10 Jul 2012 6:37pm

@Baldwin VW: Closest answer so far, Baldwin...

Manuel Hompanera from La Robla, Spain

marc battault from clermont ferrand, France

I have said a curtain caught in the wind, excellent rendering!
kiss!

10 Jul 2012 8:10pm

@marc battault: It is sort of like a curtain.

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

Raindrops dripping down a window? Very interesting whatever it is.

10 Jul 2012 8:13pm

@Ruthiebear: no...

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

I was going to say what Baldwin said, but that is obviously wrong. But I must say it is quite eye-catching with its formation and wavy pattern. The blue sky makes a great contrasting background!

10 Jul 2012 8:26pm

@Steven: Thanks, Steven. I'll share the answer now.

LauraS from Chico, United States

It is a covering over a large patio area that is very frayed and wearing out. Its shading from the harsh sun works still, however. Wind is blowing, making the trees seem like they are reflections on water, but not so. It is looking skyward.

10 Jul 2012 8:57pm

Pixim from Nice, France
