Waves in Oregon (short series) 5

Posted by LauraS (Chico, United States) on 19 December 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Surf pounds the wall by the road here, and black and white helps to see the soupy white water, I think.

Visual learner that I am, I enjoy taking photos, seeing others photos, and sharing them with all of you.
How I view the world may influence others to see more clearly that the world I live in is truly a beautiful and spectacular place. I hope I can share my sense of wonder with others. I see the world in beauty, awe, reverence and wonder.

Truly, I am an amateur who loves to look at my world, marvel at its beauty, diversity, and I capture a slice for myself to remember and share. Surely I get inspired by the work I see from other photographers and it moves me to try new things.

I have really liked this series. The land gives it perspective. Nice.

Great photo. Looks like if somebody were to fall in there would be no escape. I'm from Newfoundland, Canada...so the waves crashing against the rocks brings me back home.
