Second Life: "Burning Man" in Burning LifePosted by LauraS (Chico, United States) on 4 November 2009 in Miscellaneous. Notice that virtual worlds emulate real world events. Burning Man is an event happening on the playa in Nevada each year, where artists come together to share an experience and create, then burn it down. In Second Life, there is a similar event called Burning Life. Here on the last day, a giant man is burned down, and Lolly is in the lower left corner watching. To give it a try, visit http://www.secondlife.com/ and create a free avatar. This is the last of this series of Burning Life and Second Life for now. I'll go back to real world photos. Visual learner that I am, I enjoy taking photographs, seeing others photos, and sharing them all. How we view the world may influence others to see more clearly that the world we live in is truly a beautiful and spectacular place. Now, I am using a Panasonic DMC-ZS1. Many of my photos over the last two years have been taken with my Sony DSC-T300. Unfortunately I've broken it. Occasionally, I am using my iPhone, and you will see that listed to the right of the photos. Truly, I am an amateur who loves to look at the world, marvel at its beauty, and capture a slice for myself to remember and to share.
